I am sorry for the disgusting words. This is a book a first grade student of mine brought from their NYC public school. The book is called Granny and the Desperados by Peggy Parish. Printed 1970 No we didn’t finish reading and I explained why.

…just like the USA did regarding military aid to Guatemala and El Salvador post Iran-Contra…by that time democratic movements had been completely crippled.
